The Verdict System
Verdicts are one part of Luxy Archives' market intelligence: plain, dated calls on individual pieces, built on the same verified sold data as everything we publish. Six labels, no rankings. Each answers a different question about value.
Six calls. Each answers a different question about value.

Strong value and broad appeal at its retail price; validated or likely to hold value better than most.

The right choice for a specific use case or buyer, not every collector. Value retention isn't the point.

Exceptional design, worth buying for love; value retention is weak or uncertain.

A strong candidate at the wrong moment; hold for a better price or timing.

Appealing and well-marketed, but poor long-term resale and liquidity.

Doesn't justify its price on value or appeal, now or long-term.
These labels are not a ranking. A Heart Buy isn't “below” a Smart Buy. It's a different call for a different reason.

Compared in →YSL Mombasa, 2026 reissue
Jul 2026A revival worth loving, but the value lives in the vintage original
Compared in →The Row Marlo
Jul 2026Still in production, so the Margaux math does not apply. Buy it as an exceptional piece, not for the payoff

Compared in →LV Nano Speedy, Minty (leather)

Compared in →LV Nano Speedy, Dune (canvas)
Jun 2026Pricier canvas, but a refreshed, modern neutral for the right buyer
Compared in →LV Speedy 20, Linq Quartz (leather)
Jun 2026Seasonal, but a neutral leather in a great everyday size
Compared in →LV Neverfull MM, Monogram (classic)
Jun 2026An LV staple that keeps holding its value year over year
